Director and group sales manager John Lombardini said he believes that maintaining and nurturing long term relationships is a critical component of the Hutton & Northey Sales business.

“Many of our relationships go all the way back to 1976, with new generations of growers continuing their family’s relationship with our business. Our approach has always been to partner with our grower clients and provide the equipment, the service and the advice they need in order to run a successful program,” John said.

“We’re all in this together. We recognise that our growers can’t produce a crop without us and we can’t run a business without them so we’re very focused on doing the right thing to protect those relationships while providing the innovation and technology each grower needs in order to achieve a profitable outcome,” John added.
John Trunfio, Hutton & Northey Sales director and group service manager is very supportive of local home grown manufacturing.

“The significant amount of the machinery we sell, service and provide parts for are designed, manufactured or built either here in WA or in other Australian states. These include industry leaders such as Ausplow, K-Line, Coolamon, Horwood Bagshaw, Simplicity, Midwest and Hardi,” John said.

“We have over 80 staff across the Wheatbelt and many of them are young people who have joined us as part of an apprenticeship program. Our business supports people completing university degrees and TAFE certifications while working with us because we understand that these people are the future of our business. It makes sense then that we do everything we can to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to continue the legacy of our business,” John said.

Director and business partner Simon Hutton added that community involvement is an important part of the Hutton & Northey Sales story.

“We all live where we work and so we clearly understand that our support of local sport, cultural and community events and initiatives is a vital part of the fabric that holds our regional communities together. It’s actually part of our business focus to provide support and sponsorship for the local communities we operate in,” Simon said.
