The position – full-time, immediate start, weekly pay cycle
We are seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced professional to join our busy team in Corrigin. This position attracts competitive remuneration at top industry rates as well as on-the-job and product training for personal upskilling and development. The successful applicant will have exceptional supervisory skills, enjoy working in a team environment and value having contact with the end user. What’s more, you can be home every night and on weekends.
The roles and responsibilities
- Staff Management, training and mentoring
- Workshop Job Management – scheduling and forward planning of workshop jobs; supervising and checking completion of jobs, quality control
- Customer Relations Development, liaison and dispute resolution
- Workplace Maintenance – identification of issues; focus on safety; keeping up to date with products, programs and issues; supervision; supervising maintenance and replacement of workshop tools and equipment
- Workshop Development – identification of additional market opportunities, focus on productivity and efficiency, liaison and co-ordination with other department heads
Skills and Qualifications
- Trade Qualified Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s licence
- Previous management experience preferred, but not essential
